Boys 15U Provincial Championships Tier I
 

The boys played very well on the weekend and should be proud of this result! It has been a very fun season and we, as coaches, couldn't have asked for a better group. If this group can stay together as a team over the years, they will have a lot of success.

Congratulations to Jacob Jones for his Award of Excellence. He has been a leader for our team, a great student of the game, and is very deserving of this honour.

Boys 15U Provincial Cup
 

Boys 15U Provincial Cup, St Mary’s Catholic S. S. Hamilton Ontario
Saturday, December 1st 2007.

The 15U Tigers Black team competed in their first tournament of this season going five for five in their matches.  The boys were undefeated on the day until Forest City Green managed to wrestle a single set away from these very determined young men.

The day went as follows; vs Straford Cobras 2-0,  vs Toronto Boys 2-0, vs Interclub 2-0, vs Riverside 2-0 and in the single crossover match vs Forest City Green 2-1. Set scores, 20-25, 25-21, and 15-13 with the final and deciding match point being provided by an emphatic stuff block courtesy of Simon Clarke.

15U Boys McGregor Cup Zone A
Placing first and winning the Gold Medal is a very satisfying result coming off of weeks of festive relaxation.

With a lot of close matches, the day was a very exciting and tiring one. The player of the day for Tigers Black was Matt Girodat with his solid passing and strong serving. The team celebrated their win with ice cream bars and traveling to Forest Heights H.S. in Waterloo to cheer on their teammates Sean Roberts and Ben Nikkel in the finals of their basketball tournament.

Tigers Black are looking forward to competing in Tier I and hope to improve on their season record of 10-0.
 

15U Boys Challenge Cup Tier I
On this day, we just couldn't seem to find the team chemistry which had made us successful in our first two tournaments. It was a disappointing result for us, but we hope that this adversity will strengthen our resolve.
