17U Boys Provincial Cup Zone B
 

The 16U Boys team had a great weekend at the 17U tournament on December 15th at Rockway Mennonite.

Our first match saw us almost upset the number one ranked team in the tournament, losing 23-25, 23-25
Our second match was not as close but, we put up a good fight in the second game. We won our third match without much contention against the other 16U team there.

My goal for our team for the day was to finish third in our pool. We accomplished this goal in our last match of the pool play. We won two hard fought sets to capture third and prove that we have the potential to do some great things this year.

16U Boys McGregor Cup Tier I
The 16U Boys had an amazing day of volleyball and the parent support was greatly appreciated.

Although it was disappointing that we did not challenge for a medal, there was some positives to take in to our next tournament. We proved that we could play with the best teams in Ontario and if we had a few plays go our way, we could have easily been in medal contention.

We look forward to bigger and better things in the remaining three tournaments before Provincials.
